wicks for candles
Wicks
The wicks are waxed twice with paraffin wax and thus suitable for outdoor use, mostly for grave candles. The thickness (number of threads) depends on the dimensions or shape of the candlestick products. Cut length from 50 to 280 mm.
A reel of wick
The cord is woven from raw and bleached yarn. The semi-finished product has not yet been waxed at this stage. The standard thickness is 20 threads and increases in increments of 4 up to 48 threads. It contains a supporting core made of fine lead thread, but it can also be made without it on request.
Metal tiles
Each wick needs a tin plate to support the burning. The diameter of the neck opening is intended for standardized wick thicknesses from 20 to 48 threads. They are suitable for the automated production of wicks.
